Linda is an entrepreneur at heart. She successfully launched two other businesses. Today she is the driver of change at Allegra. Her focus is marketing and business development. She added capabilities and services to expand meet the clients growing marketing needs. The center received annual sales awards almost every year.
Linda likes to give back by serving under privileged children and supporting local not for profits. She especially loves working with her husband. Linda is a Hoosier who attended Ball State University.
Sam brings a wealth of business building experience to Allegra. He started with the Allegra Network franchise in Lexington Ky under the American Speedy Brand. Building it from the ground up, he quickly established himself as a preferred print provider before selling and starting again within the franchise. Today he offers customers his wealth of business building experience as well as knowledge of the local market. Sam is calm under pressure and is a great listener, but if you are lucky you might catch him break out in one of his rare “happy dances”! In his free time he loves UK basketball, he researches genealogy and volunteers in the community. Sam attended UK and his blood runs Blue!
Matt joined the team in 2015 when he and his bride decided to find their place in the sunshine state. Prior to joining us he worked with the Allegra team in Auburn Alabama. There he wore many hats including sales, project management, design, copy writing, social media and marketing. He brings his expertise in servicing the higher education market, construction and new business markets, as well as his knowledge of the print and sign industry. An Auburn grad, he is a huge Auburn fan. In his free time he loves to slay dragons, wear costumes, play base guitar, and hunt and cook venison. Some days you can catch him wearing his Darth Vader mask.
Paola joined Allegra in 2015. She graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing. Having worked to support the internal marketing and promotional needs of two previous employers, she brings her understanding of customer internal marketing needs to the team. She loves digital marketing and social media. She sets up customer stores and also supports the team with campaigns and apparel and promotional item solutions. Paola loves helping others. Her warm friendly smile is a sincere expression of who she is. She is the first one ready to lend a hand, try out new things, and to set up fun social events. Paola recently moved here from the Ft. Lauderdale area and is originally from Colombia. In her free time she is involved in community outreach and enjoys relaxing at the beach or the pool.
Ernie joined Sam when the business in KY was just one year old. He came with a strong print background and has print ownership experience. He eventually made the move to rejoin Sam and Allegra in Florida and continued to support it’s growth with his keen production management and team leadership skills. Always a calm presence under pressure, Ernie is responsible for the outstanding reputation we have for delivering quality materials to our customers. He is a master space and work-flow planner. When he needs a break from the Florida heat, he enjoys trips to Chicago to cool off!
Tony is perhaps the most multi skilled person there is. He earned his college degree in fitness while still in Cuba. After winning the lottery to emigrate he came to the states. He joined Allegra in 2007, with a background in construction. Originally hired on as a delivery driver, he now wears many hats including, sign production and installation, bindery and shipping. He is also responsible for helping with our build out that was recently completed. Tony has the most infectious positive personality and you can hear him laughing and joking all over the building. Sometimes you can even catch him doing his “happy dance”. If we can’t hear him, he must be out with a customer. Tony became a proud American citizen in 2015. He can cook a mean pork roast and his flan is to die for!
Laurie joined Allegra as part of the merger with Dynamic Printing in 2013. She came with production management experience as well as holding down almost every position in production. Today she enjoys working in both the art and production departments, handling pre-press, digital press, wide format, mailings, and finishing. She enjoys making sure that jobs are to spec and is known as the Allegra holiday decor manager. In her free time she plays a mean game of golf and enjoys knitting and crocheting. She is known to help keep the team’s happy perspective on busy days by dancing down the hallway. If you have been gifted with hot Allegra cookies, she is the baker and keeps the oven right in her office which is a huge challenge to those on the team trying not to smell or steal them!
Russell was part of the Dynamic team that merged with Allegra in 2013. For Russell it’s all about the details. Observant and analytical he is the reason that color and registration is perfect on the new G7 digital presses. He also works in pre-press, digital presses, mailing and finishing. If we want the opinion of the person with the highest standards and who is not afraid to say it like he sees it, we go to Russell. When he is not busy catching things even our customers wouldn’t notice, he is a bit of a jokester. Consistent and predictable, he is known for his ability to eat the exact same lunch every day and enjoy it. When he is not making us look like rock stars to our customers, he plays drums and is learning to play the bass guitar. He loves listening to classic rock.
Carlos came to Allegra as part of the Dynamic Printing acquisition in 2013. He is a native of Colombia and a man of many skills. In his former life he was the owner and chef of a restaurant in NJ. He is obsessive with making sure every job that passes through his cutting, bindery and finishing department is perfect. At Allegra he is known as the best looking and best dressed guy and possibly the nicest person any of us have ever worked with. He is a consummate gentleman and at lunch time the team often stops by just to smell his food. He loves soccer and eating but his passion and pride is his family.
Glenn came to Allegra in 2000 as part of a business acquisition of Premier Printing. He is proud of the continued investment Allegra has made into the presses he operates and maintains. He rocks the color press department where he keeps the machines humming and the rock music playing loud. He loves his Harley and going fishing and in his days off he enjoys camping in the Keys with his air conditioned tent!
